The first item listed on our Construction Guideline document is to discuss overall design principles. In this we ask you what elements of design your looking to achieve with regards to the architecture style of your home. This includes what your green principles are and what you’d like to achieve. Most home owners are satisfied with the codes set by the county's they live in IE: electrical, plumbing, insulation.

To go a step further there are things like solar, water capture/conservation, sustainable materials and longevity of materials, to name a few. Knowing your goals upfront can help put you on a path to sustainably designing your home.
